Context & Brief:

Quince & Co. is a hospitality group founded by Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk, encompassing Michelin-recognized restaurants, event services, a farm stand, and other creative ventures based in San Francisco’s Jackson Square. As the group expanded, its public presence remained fragmented and largely relationship-driven, with no centralized digital system connecting its brands or offerings. The brief was to create a cohesive digital ecosystem that could unify multiple brands under the Quince & Co. umbrella — establishing a clear public presence, strengthening guest connection beyond physical spaces, and supporting new initiatives within lean budgets and tight timelines.


Design System:

I developed a flexible visual and structural system designed to scale across platforms while maintaining clarity and cohesion. The system balanced editorial storytelling with functional utility, allowing distinct offerings to feel related without losing their individual character.

Key elements included:

  • A typographic hierarchy supporting both narrative and practical content

  • A modular layout system adaptable across multiple sites

  • A restrained graphic language designed to foreground photography

  • Image treatment guidelines to ensure consistency across campaigns

  • Reusable web templates to support future growth


Execution:

Brand Website Launch
Designed and launched Quince & Co.’s first website, establishing the group’s digital foundation. The launch coincided with a Priority List membership program and a fundraiser auction, extending guest engagement beyond the restaurants.

E-commerce Expansion
Launched a Shopify-based shop offering curated and house-made goods. Within a tight budget, an existing theme was customized and adapted to support preorder-only functionality.

Events & Catering Website
Designed a dedicated site for catering and off-site events, creating a clear sales and storytelling platform for bespoke private dining experiences.
